Rohit Chande is our CEO and a co-founder. Prior to Count, Rohit served as the COO of Authority Brands, a diversified conglomerate in consumer services industry. He is also the Director and co-owner of Spectra International LLC, a leading home health business. Rohit has decades of experience in executive leadership, strategy and operations, and value creation.
Rohit has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology, master’s degree in chemical engineering from Clarkson University, Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Maryland. He completed his advanced Executive education at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
Eric Rachlin is our co-founder and CTO. Prior to Count, he was co-founder and CTO of Body Labs, a New York City-based computer vision startup that Amazon acquired in 2017. At Amazon, Eric led the Body Labs team in integrating their technology for modeling and inferring 3D body shape into multiple flagship products.
In 2021, Eric left Amazon, returning to the world of startups to explore the transformative potential of language-aware AI. Eric’s co-founding of Count was rooted in the belief that AI workflows are most valuable when they are built and deployed within existing businesses. At Count, Eric is relentlessly committed to developing AI-powered tools that align with the needs of our employees and clients.
Before founding Body Labs, Eric earned a doctorate degree in Computer Science from Brown University working under John Savage. He then served as a Senior Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, working under Director Michael Black.
As Count’s Chief Scientist and co-founder, Matt Loper applies his deep expertise in machine learning and computer vision to enterprise software and financial services. His previous work includes co-authoring the SMPL paper, the 6th most cited in the history of ACM’s Transactions on Graphics, and securing 9 patents that have advanced the practical application of AI. At Amazon and Body Labs, Matt’s innovative work on human shape estimation set new standards for AI’s ability to understand human body shape.
At Count, Matt is dedicated to integrating language-aware AI into the software and workflows which support our financial services and business processes. Matt’s work aims to modernize our industry with smarter, more connected systems.
Matt’s academic degrees include a doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from Connecticut College. Matt’s career and background equip him with a unique perspective on the intersection of technology and business.
As CAO, Blair brings an extensive background in relationship-based service industries like healthcare, hospitality, consulting, and financial services. His corporate audit and operational leadership experiences at GE, Ameritas, and LNC exposed him to the diverse accounting services performed by leading firms.
Blair’s career has included leading large P&L centers and administrative and corporate audit groups. He has also served as faculty at a leading R1 academic research institution. At Count, his team is focused on helping portfolio companies scale and optimize their administrative and business development capabilities using AI to enable top performers to concentrate on high-level functions like customer acquisition, service delivery, and execution.
Blair attended the University of Connecticut and earned his Master’s degree in International Business at The Johns Hopkins University. He is also a former US Army Infantry Officer.
As our head of corporate development, Tony brings a deep understanding of professional services practices, including empathy and appreciation for entrepreneurial, forward-thinking leaders of accounting firms. His extensive buy side M&A and strategic growth experience includes leadership roles at American Express, BDO and Navigant, building via acquisition and organic growth.
Tony’s career has included serving as a trusted advisor, executive coach, fractional CEO, M&A leader, Advisory Board Director, and driver of organic and buy side strategies. At Count, his team identifies high quality firms to acquire, modernize and lead with AI to enhance internal processes and provide a better client experience.
Tony attended Davidson College, the University of Maryland Smith School of Business and earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.
Ryan Young is an operations executive with a long track record of helping emerging businesses scale. Before joining Count, Ryan worked as an executive on the Corporate Development integration team at Meta (formerly Facebook). Prior to that, he worked at Salesforce in a number of senior leadership roles in M&A integration, and strategy and operations within go-to-market and product. Early in his career, he worked at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen in corporate finance roles.
Ryan earned his Master’s Degree of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Accounting from UCLA.
